Sony Ericsson Idou handset to go on sale in October2009

Sony Ericsson Idou handset is latest and unique handset at Mobile World

Sony Ericsson Idou handset is latest and unique handsets at Mobile World Congress.Sony Ericsson has gone on the record to state that the Idou — a Symbian-powered device with a 3.5″ touchscreen, monstrous 12 megapixel camera and GPS — is slated to commence retail sales in October with November being the fall-back date. The new Sony Ericsson Idou will probably create as much hype as the original XPERIA.

Sony Ericsson showcased its 12.1 MP Idou handset at Mobile World Congress. The Idou eventually is expected to be rolled out with the Symbian Foundation's OS, but the version we're seeing here is somewhere in between. Not only is it the first 12 megapixel GSM cameraphone, but it's also the first device presented to ever run on the brand new open source Symbian user interface that's still being developed by the Symbian FoundationThe touchscreen of the phone is pretty eye-catching with its glossy feel and the phone truly looks promising.
The 3.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels, GPS and Wi-Fi and the relatively compact size are just an added bonus to that already impressive novel package.

Sony Ericsson Idou sees broad daylight for the first time at this year's MWC

The Sony Ericsson Idou is nowhere near complete - they haven't even come up with a marketing model name yet as Idou is still code name for the device. The show-off devices that the Sony Ericsson staff had at the event varied from graphically rich dummy phones to basic early-stage prototypes. We really hope that the final product will be as responsive as the units showed today.

HP Officejet Pro 8500 Printer:All-In-One machine perfect solution for small businesses

HP Officejet Pro 8500 Printer:it includes 3.4-inch LCD touchscreen

HP Pro 8500 is one of the first jet printers we have seen that provides photo quality output. this “All-In-One” machine might just be the perfect solution for businesses.

“All-In-One,” we refer to four key functions that are part and parcel of every business such as printing, scanning, faxing, and copying. If your needs match those of most small business, then investing in this printer could actually signal the end of long, frustrating and ultimately expensive hours spent at your local Kinko’s, where you are just one of a many other entrepreneurs lining up to get your bulk print demands met before your business deadline.
At first glance, the Officejet Pro 8500 is fairly big and bulky. It does not necessarily take up more space than other commercial printers but it is far from being the compact machine that you would envision when you examine the array of ‘sleek technology’ readily available on the market today. But when you take into account all of the different things that you can achieve with this machine, then size no longer becomes an issue.

Two unique features for individuals and small office networks are the “Direct Digital Filing” and “Email” functions. Once your computer is hooked up to the Office jet Pro, these two functions allow you to scan documents without any scanning software! Once scanned, you can file your document directly into shared folders on computers within your office network. Alternatively, you can send scanned documents as e-mail attachments. And all this can be done by hitting a button on the machine itself.
Then there is the connectivity with HP’s various small business resources that really enable entrepreneurs to make efficient decisions when it comes to customized printing. Most small business have batch printing needs; sometimes it is more efficient to do this in-house on your Officejet Pro 8500, and sometimes, it is much better for you to outsource the job to Kinko’s. It really depends upon the size of your job.
It’s not the cheapest on the market but considering all that you can do with it, it really is worth the investment. Besides, it’s dual voltage, so if you are planning to set up shop in another country permanently or partially, then it will save you the hassle of buying new machines when you move. Not to mention the fact that laser printers are a huge step up in price. We are currently investigating the environmental effects of this printer and will be blogging about them in the days to come.

The printer retails at $399.

The N98 concept photo reveals a huge touch screen display of the N series 16th model. The preliminary photos show major similarities with iPhone, but the prototype is most likely Nokia 8600.To all these marvelous features, the GPS module inherited form the N95 will also be added. Here is the Photoshop created concept picture of N98.According to design and technical features Nokia N98 makes a great impression. We will hope that as the result of the war between smartphone producers the users are going to win having the best products with the bets price.

Nokia N98 technical features: - 7.2 megapixels camera, obviously with Carl Zeiss lens;
- 5x optical zoom (20x digital zoom);
- 3.5″ inches touch screen;

Fujitsu & Siemens includes P-series new lifebook- P8020

Fujitsu & Siemens includes a new lifebook- P8020

Fujitsu & Siemens introdouce a new lifeBook. The newest P-series model is the P8020.'Fujitsu Siemens' LifeBook is a range of ultra-portable laptops operational with mobile broadband and a webcam. It includes the P7230 and P1610 -- the latter a convertible tablet PC.New P-series model is the P8020, a well-featured 12.1-inch ultra-portable

Design
The P8020 is an improvement over the P7230 as far as styling goes. This is largely down to the casing design: Fujitsu Siemens has gone for a black chassis all round, with a shiny black outer lid that's reminiscent of some netbooks and consumer-grade laptops.

The lid seems quite resistant to fingermarks, but we were concerned that our review sample had a small scratch that was highly visible as a white scar against the black background. If you like to keep your laptop looking factory fresh, you'll need to take care of it.

The P8020 has a shiny black finish to the outer lid. You'll have to take care it doesn't get scratched

The build quality is generally robust, although the lid section has a fair amount of flex. There's also no clasp holding the lid and base sections together, so you'll need to take care that nothing gets between the screen and keyboard when the system is in your travel bag.

The P8020 measures 280 by 37 by 210mm and weighs 1.3kg. It feels rather thick and chunky, but this is not unduly noticeable when the laptop is in use.

The screen measures 12.1 inches across the diagonal and has a native resolution of 1,280x800 pixels -- you can get a 1,920x1,200-pixel resolution with an external monitor if necessary. The display is LED-backlit and very bright and sharp. The glossy screen coating helps with clarity and increases viewing angles, particularly in the horizontal plane. But the screen is also reflective, which causes the usual problems when you work with a light source behind you.

Ultra-portable laptops can suffer from cramped keyboards, and the P8020's is indeed on the small side. If your hands are large, you may find touch typing a challenge. The keys themselves, however, are responsive, depress a fair way when pressed and give a light click when used. The return key is well sized and the function key row is almost full height. The small amount of flex in the keyboard should only affect the most heavy-handed of typists.

The wrist rest houses a wide-format touchpad. This lacks the horizontal and vertical scrolling capabilities we're used to seeing in touchpads these days, and their absence is a disappointment. Beneath the touchpad are two mouse buttons that are slightly unresponsive for our liking. Between them sits a fingerprint scanner.

Notebook: Fujitsu-Siemens LifeBook P8020 (Lifebook P Series)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400
Graphics Adapter: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100
Display: 12.1 inch, 16:10, 1280x800 pixels
Weight: 1.3kg
Price: 1600 euro

Before netbooks became all the rage, an ultraportable was the only choice if you wanted a compact, lightweight laptop companion. With the Fujitsu LifeBook P8020, we’re happy to see companies still advancing the latter category. The business-oriented P8020 squeezes a built-in optical drive, a full contingent of ports, and decent (for the class) performance into a 2.9-pound machine. Sure, at $2,499 with the solid-state drive (SSD) in our model (a $450 option) it costs a lot more than a netbook. But unlike a netbook, when matched with a port replicator and an external screen and monitor, the P8020 can serve as your primary work PC. The Fujitsu LifeBook P8020 proves you can get an optical drive and all manner of ports in a 3-pound system.

Canon's PowerShot SX200 is the latest gadgets and features in this moments

Canon’s PowerShot SX200 is a 12.1 Megapixel compact with a 12x optical zoom and a 3 in screen. Declared in February 2009, SX200 is Canon’s first attempt at a pocket super-zoom and directly targets Panasonic’s enormously popular travel-zoom series. The PowerShot SX200 IS packs an impressive 12x optical zoom range into a relatively pocketable form factor, while keeping up with the latest gadgets and features.

Both the Canon and Panasonic additionally feature 3in screens, automatic scene detection, HD movie recording in the 720p format and HDMI ports for output to an HDTV. They’re also roughly the same size and weight. As such both cameras have a great deal in common on the surface, but dig a little deeper and you’ll discover considerable differences in their specifications and capabilities, with one more likely to suit your style of photography than the other.

In our Canon PowerShot SX200 IS review we’ll examine the differences between it and Panasonic’s Lumix TZ7 / ZS3, illustrating where each takes a lead over the other. We’ll also compare the image quality and movie modes of both cameras, along with seeing how Canon’s larger super-zoom, the PowerShot SX10 IS measures-up in comparison. If you’re in the market for a super-zoom digital camera, you’ve come to the right place Measuring 103x61x38mm, the PowerShot SX200 IS looks almost identical in size to arch rival the Panasonic Lumix TZ7 / ZS3 when viewed face-on.

features:

· Compact, 12x optical zoom starting at wide-angle 28mm
· 4-stop optical Image Stabilizer lens
· 12.1 Megapixels
· DIGIC 4 for ultra-fast response, superb image quality and intelligent technologies
· Smart Auto mode with Scene Detection Technology
· Combats blur with IS, Motion Detection Technology and Servo AF
· People shots made easy with Face Detection AF/AE/FE/WB and Face Select & Track,
plus FaceSelf-Timer and Auto Red-Eye Correction
· 3.0”, high resolution LCD
· High Definition (720p) movie with HDMI connection
· Shooting modes include Manual control and Easy mode
· New, easy-to-use User Interface with hints and tips
· Classic aluminium design available in black, blue and red.

The Panasonic zooms a little wider and the Canon zooms a little longer. Which is best for you depends on your own personal preference, although many enthusiasts will find the slightly wider coverage of the Panasonic more useful than being able to zoom-in a little further on the Canon.

koenigsegg-engineer-Designed-600bhp-volvo-p180

Regardless of their shared Swedishness, car makers Volvo and Koenigsegg couldn’t be more different. One makes safe, the other makes widows.

Koenigsegg engineer Mattias Vöx is bringing the two companies closer together with this stunning, one-off Volvo P1800 remake and other 600bhp mentalist.
A Koenigsegg engineer used to working on the world’s most expensive car has turned his attention to a Volvo – with stunning results.

Mattias Vöcks began with a classic 1960s Volvo P1800 and these incredible images show how his modern reworking will look when it goes on show at the SEMA tuning show stateside, in November.

While the overall design of the classic car has been maintained, the many wheels and ultra-low suspension give the concept a very different stance.

every tyres need to be fat too - he’s planning on fitting the 4.4-litre V8 engine from the Volvo XC90 and S80 and has had to stretch the nose 70mm forwards to make it fit.

Not content with the 315bhp it normally churns out, Vöcks also plans to fit a turbocharger, almost doubling its power to a projected 600bhp.

Driven hard – away from the show stands – it should be capable of 0-60mph in less than five seconds.

We don’t doubt his ability to turn out a stunning car – at the 2006 SEMA show he presented an incredible 1967 Volvo Amazon estate.

Intel® Core™ i7 Processor Latest Edition

The highest performing desktop processor on the planet.¹ Shatter the limits of desktop computing with the intelligent performance of the Intel® Core™ i7-965 processor Extreme Edition, the smartest way to blast through highly-threaded games and applications.
Intel Nehalem architecture based Intel Core i7 940 processor will be phased out later this year. Ironically, Intel Core i7 940 was one of the first processors
later this year. Ironically, Intel Core i7 940 was one of the first processors based on Nehalem architecture launched in November 2008. Consumers can confirm their Core i7 940 orders till Sept. 4 this year and after that it would be officially unavailable.

The quad-core 2.93GHz Intel Core i7 940 would be the first Nehalem processor to be phased out. Intel cites in a statement, "market demand for the same has moved to other products. Following the Core i7 940, Intel will next discontinue production of high-end quad-core 3.2GHz Intel Core i7 965 Extreme Edition.

It's hardly been a year since Intel launched it's Core i7 CPU but after Intel demonstrated 32nm Westmere chips in mid-February, this shift from Nehalem architecture to 32nm Westmere was obvious.

As per the Tick in Intel's Tick Tock Model, the 32nm process technology based processors will hit the production floors this year and will be publicly available in first half of 2010.

However, it's surprising that Intel still continues to sell cheaper quad-core 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 920 CPU, may be due to the price factor. Also, Intel is expected to roll out a high-end 3.33GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition hopefully by the end of this month.

Intel is on tarck according to it's roadmap, the 32nm Westmere chips was planned for this year. However, Nehalem chips will be available (read shipped) throughout 2009.

NOKIA EXPRESS MUSIC PHONE

Nokia a new arraival mobile NOKIA 5800 XpressMusic(express) music comes with the first touch screen phone at Mid- January 2009 . Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a S60 5th Edition device with a resistive tou. The device has a large 3,2“, bright nHD (640 x 360 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio) color display. The device has variety of input methods: stylus, plectrum and finger touch support for text input and UI control (alphanumeric keypad, full and mini qwerty keyboard, handwriting recognition). Use the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic to connect to mobile broadband using WLAN or HSDPA (3.5G). Find directions and locations with the integrated A-GPS and included maps. Additional features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, and USB 2.0 High-Speed. Supported WCDMA frequencies depend on the region where the device is available. The 5800, Nokia's first touchscreen phone, has video, music and GPS features to get the heart racing, but these are offset by a disappointing touch experience. While there's nothing outrageously wrong with the 5800, we're sure Nokia has better touchscreens to come.
battery :The 5800 has got a pretty big battery for a mobile phone. But how can you make it last even longer? Read All About Symbian's special feature to find out how to maximise every charge

Car Show New York in-2009 - BMW X6,Merces ML450 and Scion IQ

Mercedes ML450, BMW X6, Scion IQ show

Lateste Dunlop tyre SP2000

The Dunlop SP2000 tyre is one of the only tyres in its class to last the test of time. Previously the Dunlop SP2000 tyre was a big favourite amongst car manufacturers but in recent years you will be less likely to see them on a new car at the dealership. The Dunlop SP2000 tyre has been developed with comfort in mind as well as a quieter drive quality due to a slightly softer compound than its competitors. Built primarily for durability and reliability we can’t fault this tyre as it delivers exactly as promised. Alternative options include the Goodyear Eagle GSD3 or if you are feeling particularly flush the Michelin Pilot Sport.
